For tradespeople
Price the job. Get paid as you work.
Cash flow on every job, no deposit for the customer, materials on a card that isn't your money.
How it works
The three-link story
Price the job
Three numbers: work, materials estimate, duration. PayDave shows the terms live.
Send the link
The customer accepts with no deposit and loads the card only when materials are needed.
Pay Dave
The bill is labour and passed-on costs. Card spend is already theirs, with unspent money back.
What it costs
Use the mode that fits the job
Setup is based on the work, never the materials. Advances cost 1p in the £ a month while the money is out. The materials card itself is free.
Wrapper
No advances, card receipts still collected.
Cost to you: the setup charge, or nothing if you pass it on. The customer gets no-deposit trust and every receipt either way.
Short term cash-flow
Use the materials card, only partial advances as you wait.
The card itself costs nothing. Advances are 1p in the £ a month, and you can choose to wear it or pass it on.
Full cash-flow
Take advances as the work is proved.
Setup plus 1p in the £ a month on what you've taken, while it's out, can settle on the customer's bill.
Setup: 3p to 6p in every £ of the work by your history, £70 minimum — absorb it or pass it on. Advances: 1p in the £ a month until the bill's paid. The card: free.
Clean jobs grow everything: bigger advances, a cheaper setup charge, longer to settle, and a higher profile limit.
What the customer sees
Win the quote without asking for half up front.
- A link to accept the job — no deposit, a small fee instead.
- Every receipt, automatically. Trade prices, no markup.
- Money not spent on materials goes back to them — estimated £3,000, loaded £3,000, spent £2,800, £200 pulled back.
- Approvals for small extras — tap once and the card opens for that merchant only, for 48 hours.
Job done — they tap one button to pay the bill, and the money you took comes straight out.
